General Terms & Conditions:

• ✓ The application will be scrutinized by the Executive Committee who shall have the discretion for selection/ rejection of applicants to the GSCGS Association's Membership.
• ✓ The application once approved for Membership is displayed on the GSCGS Association Website for a period of one week at the discretion of the Executive Committee. If during this period, any existing Member of the GSCGS Association provides evidence to the effect that such applicant would be undesirable in the GSCGS Association, the applicant may be refused Membership by the Executive Committee. This is solely the discretion of the Executive Committee acting reasonably.
• ✓ The deliberation of the Executive Committee concerning selection to Membership shall be strictly confidential.
• ✓ Once the Notice period of one week is over the Member should collect the Membership card from the GSCGS Association Office or request the same to be couriered at the cost of the Member.
• ✓ Applicant agrees to abide by, all local and applicable laws any and all additional policies and procedures adopted by the GSCGS Association, and the CDA as may be amended from time to time.
• ✓ If an applicant gives false or incorrect information about himself, his company, or has made any misrepresentation, either material or willful, and this if discovered subsequent to his having been granted Membership of the GSCGS Association, the corporate Membership shall be considered void and any subscription, entrance fee, etc. will be forfeited at the sole discretion of the Executive Committee (acting reasonably).
• ✓ These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice to the individual Applicants, with notification on the official web site of the GSCGS Association.
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must promptly inform the GSCGS Association if there is a change to details submitted in their Membership application or Member details;
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must not abuse or misuse any Member benefit or use it for any inappropriate, illegal or unlawful activity;
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must not engage in any behavior in communicating with another Member that could reasonably be interpreted as intended to bully, intimidate, or harass a person.
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must not in using a forum provided by GSCGS Association post content that could reasonably be interpreted to be defamatory, malicious, hate speech, threatening or pornographic, incite violence or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence;
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must not undertake any action that could damage the reputation of GSCGS Association;
• ✓ Applicant/ Member must not make representations on behalf of GSCGS Association without prior approval in writing. For example, a Member must not organize an event in the name of GSCGS Association without prior written approval;
• ✓ Your organization grant GSCGS Association the right to use your organization's name and logo on the GSCGS Association website and on related marketing materials, solely to indicate your Membership in GSCGS Association. As long as you remain a Member in good standing, you may use GSCGS Association name and logo, in the format and with the notices provided or requested by GSCGS Association, solely to indicate your Membership in GSCGS Association. (for Corporate Members)
• ✓ GSCGS Association Shall Communicate With Its Members Exclusively Using Details Such As Email Address And Telephone /mobile Numbers Furnished In The Member Details Or By Posting A Notice To Your Member Account.
• ✓ Members Should Communicate With GSCGS Association Using The Applicable Contact Details On GSCGS Association Website.
• ✓ Each Applicant Acknowledges That, Except As Otherwise Agreed In Writing, All Services And Information Provided By GSCGS Association Under This Membership Is Provided "As Is" With No Warranties Or Conditions Whatsoever, Whether Express, Implied, Statutory Or Otherwise, And GSCGS Association Expressly Disclaims Any Laibility Whatsoever With Respect To Such Services And Information.
• ✓ In No Event Whatsoever Will GSCGS Association Be Liable To The Member Or Third Party Under This Membership For The Cost Of Membership Or Any Incidental, Consequential, Direct, Indirect, Punitive, Or Special Damages. The GSCGS Association Has No Liability Whatsoever To Any Member Whatsoever In Contract, Tort (Including Negligence), Statute Or Otherwise For Conduct Of Another Member (E.g., In A Forum Provided By GSCGS Association), Conduct Of An Organisation Interacting With Or Through GSCGS Association.

Cessation of Membership:

The Membership shall be ceased in any of the following cases: -

• a) Death;
• b)If the Member becomes incapacitated or disabled in a way that does not allow him/her to fulfil his/her duties and discipline as a Member;
• c)If the Member declares bankruptcy or ceased to repay/service debts, even if it is not accompanied by declaration of bankruptcy or adjudication as insolvent/bankrupt; or liquidation (in case of a corporate Members);
• d)Dissolution of the legal entity of the Member; (in case of a corporate Members)
• e)If the Member is convicted of any crime.
• f)Acts or has acted in a manner as could bring disrepute to other Members or GSCGS Association;
• g)Cessation of legal status of the GSCGS Association;
• h)Non-payment of fees;
Any Membership, terminated for non-payment of dues, may be reinstated, with no loss of privileges, provided said dues are paid in full within one year.
• i)If the Member does not abide by the rules as imposed by the CDA, obligations, general principles of good faith, code of compliance, good conduct, confidentiality and non-conflict of interests;
• j)If the Member submits a written request, expressing a wish to cease Membership and the request is accepted by GSCGS Association;
• k)Any Membership may be terminated upon recommendation of the Board in the Annual General Meeting with the majority vote.
